Silver Age Marvel THOR #147 148 149 150 Jack Kirby Stan Lee HIGH GRADE COMICS; 1st appearance Wrecker; Loki, Hela, and the Destroyer ALSO appear.
This auction is for four (4) Silver Age issues that are ABSOLUTELY essential keys of the modern Marvel Universe since they contain early appearances of Thor—the iconic Norse god of thunder who would become a founding member of the Avengers—a character who shaped the Marvel Universe. With a script by Stan Lee and art by Jack Kirby, this quartet of comics helped to usher in the Marvel Age of Comics. The narrative content of these four issues feature an extended origin story of the Inhumans (as a back up feature in ALL four issues), appearances of Loki, Hela, Karnilla the Norn Queen, the Destroyer, snd the Wrecker (whose first appearance is in Thor #148 [!]).
Therefore, Silver Age Marvel Comics' The Mighty Thor #147, 148, 149, and 150 (published in December of 1967, and January, February, and March, 1968) are considered four truly ESSENTIAL early Marvel Comic books.
